BULGARIAN THRONE.
THE TIMES ON THE CRISIS, London, Sept. 14. Advices from the British Consul at Sofia state that public demonstrations iu favour of Prince Ferdinand have been made at Sofia. The greatest excitement prevailed, the mob breaking the windows of the Russian consulate. The Timas expresses the opinion that Bulgarian affairs are rapidly approaching a serious crisis. ABREST OF RUSSIAN OFFICERS. EXCITEMEFT IN ST. PETERSBURG. Liwit, General Kar.ivelort and a number of Russian officers in the Bulgarian aimy hav been arrested on a charge of inciting the Bulgarian army to revolt. They will be charged with high ireisoh; It is expected that the evidence will disclose some very startling exposures of Russian intrigues in Bulgaria. The St. Petersburg Press are enraged at the courageous attitude of the Bulgarians and mass m-etinge are bring held by the Panslavists uiging an immediate occupation of the country by Russian troops.
