Colonial Bank.
HALF-YEARLY MEETING. Dunedin, last night. The half yearly meeting of the proprietors of the Colonial Bank was held this afternoon. The Hon. G. McLean, in moving the adoption of the report, congratulated the shareholders on the exceptionally strong position occupied by the Bank. He thought there was no reason to fear tor the Colony’s future, but expressed the hope that the Committee would have more confidence in itself.
