Twelve Counties have also been partially proclaimed, the area proclaimed thus asm. pricing the whole of Ireland except certain portione of County Antrim.

GENERAL INDIGNATION EXPRESSED. London, July 26. The Daily News, Pall Mall Gazette, and other leading iliberai papers hive strongly denounced the coercion policy of the Government. The leading provincial journals, especially in the north; express similar opinions. The Gladstonitei accdsb the Government of deliberate breach of faith in applying the act to virtually the whole island and in Ireland the indignation is extreme.
