At the last auction the prices fell 17 cents. The Mount Shamrock Mining Company, Queensland, with a Capital of £280,000, has been placed upon the market. The shares are already quoted at a premium of 75. The Mining Journal declares it 18 a place Of audacity to require that price. The Centennial cricket niatbh ha, commenced. The first important match begins at Lords next Monday. The Agents-Generals’ illumination in honour of the Jubilee will be or e of the best effects in London. The s,s. Arawa and Tongariro have arrived with their mutton in good condition. Arrangements are being made for an Antattle expedition, The Emperor of Germany ie slightly better, but considerably anxiety to etill felt.
