P.A. WELLINGTON, October 6. Windy Wellington has lived up to its soubriquet for the past day or two. The peak was reached to-day with a bur?t of wind at 74 miles an hour, last night’s maximum being 71 miles an hour.

Two women in different parts of the city were blown over by the wind and injured, while the window of a city shop was tipped out by a freak wind last night. Coastal ships in the Straits are encountering extremely rough weather.
