Kartigi, Wellington, early. NOTES The depth of the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft 6in. The Rata is ip the roadstead, and on arrival at Greymouth will load coal for New Plymouth. The Gabriella is expected to leave Wellington this week for Greymouth. She will load coal for return.

The Kartigi was expected to leave Wellington yesterday with general cargo for Greymouth. She will load coal for Auckland.

The Kaitawa, with coal for Miramar, is expected to sail when bar conditions permit. The Konui, with coal and posts for Napier, is expected to sail when bar conditions permit. The Poolta is expected at the end of the week to load coal for return.

The Matthew Flinders is expected to sail early next week with timber for Melbourne.
