London Ban on Moseley Party, And Other Processions
LONDON, October 3
All political processions in the metropolitan area were to-day banned for three months. The ban will become effective from mid-night tonight, the eve of the planned march through the East. End by Sir Oswald Mosley’s Union (Fascist) Movement. The oj-der was signed by the Home Secretary, Mr Chuter Ede, after he had received protests against the proposed march. The London District Trade Council told Mr Ede that such a march would provoke the people in the district.
