More Satellites Break With Yugoslavia
LONDON, October 3. Bulgaria denounced the frontier convention of 1947 with Yugoslavia. Informing the Yugoslav Ambassador in Sofia of this decision, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister, Mr. V. Poptomov, said the Yugoslav authorities had obstructed the objects of the convention, which was designed to encourage friendly relations by facilitating passage across the frontier between the two countries.
Yugoslavia, he added, had used the convention as a cover for hostile j agents and had sent the holder of Bulgarian ofiicial papers to concen~[ tration camps. ! ! Yugoslavia also received a Note from Hungary, the theme of which was: “We don’t want your medals”. The Note and a pile of medals which Tito had given Hungarian officials were handed to the Yugoslav Minis-, ter in Budapest. ] Hungary’s Vice-Premier, M. Rakosi, I headed the list of officials who returned their medals. The Note said the trial of Laszlo Rajk proved that th e medals were presented by “hire-, lings of imperialist Powers”. j
