RIFLE SHOOTING President's Trophy Won by J. Boddy
The Greymouth Defence Rifle Club’s competition for the President’s Trophy was fired off on the Taylorville range on Saturday afternoon. Owing to a changeable light, conditions were difficult.
Rifleman J. Boddy shot well to win with a total of 98. W. Jackson, who scored 97 points, was runner-up. Following are the leading scores: — J. Boddy 98, W. Jackson 97, S. Davy 93, M. Garth 90, F. Bell 90, P. Waler 90, G. Eder 89, P. Malone 88, D. Halgale 84, J. Scorgie 82, G. Boddy 81.
