U.S. SCIENTISTS AND ATOMIC CONTROL
(Rec. 9.5) WASHINGTON, Feb. 26. The .Federation of American Scientists urged that the United Nations Atomic Energy Commission should give the fullest consideration to a Russian suggestion that an. international atomic control plan might set up simultaneously with the destruction of the present atomic weapons. It said: “Perhaps this is not a major step towards an agreement, but it is an essential step. The United Nations Atomic Energy Commission should give this .proposal full consideration, said the Federation.
