LONDON, October 28.
The national Marriage Guidance Council- has announed that divorce figures for England and Wales m 1948 are expected to exceed the record number of petitions med m 1947 Twenty-five thousand persons in the first half of 1948 filed petitions which is half the figure for the whole °f 1947. ionnri In 1924 there were only 12,UUU divorces in England and Wales.
