CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 21

W. Russell, president of the Christchurch Returned Services Association At Belfast (North Canterbury) he outlined his intentions. New Zealand servicemen had gained a fine reputation in the war, he. said. The idea of an exhibition was to s l ow what they were able to do in peace, and perhaps to see that they were not forgotteen. Apart from their ordinary civilian callings, former servicemen had individual hobbies and creations which had done much toward bringing them back to a normal position in society, titer their wartime experiences. Many of the men also had interesting wartime souvenirs. These men would be invited to display their work and their trophies at the proposed exhibition.
