SATURDAY’S RESULTS. Runanga A 23, beat Technical O.G. A 7; United A 19, beat Technical A 10; Nurses 20, beat United B 10, Technical O.G. C 21, beat Convent O.G. C 20; Karoro 15, beat Technical B S; Technical O.G. B 15, beat Runanga B 12; F'aroa 16, beat Convent O.G. B 12; Blaketown A 17. beat St. M’ary’s A 7. , .. , . In the- United A v. Technical A same, the former played the better basketball. When the younger team get more experience there is no reason why they should not reverse the position. Both teams played one short in the second spell. Technical B v. Karoro .was the best second grade game this season. Passing was quick and snappy and shooting was accurate on both sides. St. Mary's A v. Blaketown A was a good game, played well on both sides. When both teams get a bit more practice they should develop into good teams. The score was no indication of the play. Nurses were far the superior to United B, who passed very wildly, but picked up better in the second half.
