ALLIES.

[To the Editor] Sir.—While we keen reading of the heroic stand ou r Russian all.v is putting tin against the' German Fascists, why all this bother about Empire Cabinets? If the Empire is disunited —and I don’t think It is, by any means—an Empire Cabinet won’t make anv difference to our Russian ally. Millions of Russians ar e giving their lives ifor the Wnole world against Fascism. Germany has all of Europe’s resources behind her, excluding England, with a good many of its Fascist battalions, too. Now if we, the Allies, are going to give Russia help. w e will have to get a move on, and ston all this sloppy business about Empire Cabinets. The Russians need help, according to some of our best .statesmen, so why not give it to them instead of lip service? If the Russians go down, not onlv do we, the Allies, go down also, but the rest of the world 1 am, etc.. “REWANUI”
