RAILWAYMEN’S WAR WAGE
By a decision of the Railway Staff National Tribunal the wages of adult male railway workers in the conciliation grades have been increased by 4s a week, and by £lO per annum for the salaried staff, with corresponding advnnce|s jfor femaleg and (juniors. The Award is retrospective to January 6, and makes the total war wage advance up to Ils per week for the conciliation grades, and £2B a year for the salaried staff. —“Labour”, June, 1941,
