STORMS IN AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, July 24. Heaw seas and a strong northeasterly gale are delaying several coastal vessels, some of which are sheltering in bays north and suuth of Auckland. The Union Company’s Kopara and Kaimai, due yesterday from the East Coast and Westport respectively, had not reached port early tAis afternoon Steady rain has been falling off and on since yesterday morning, the fall for the 24 hours ended this morning being two point eleven inches. Heavy rain continued into the afternoon.
