The German News Agency states: The first meeting of the Reassemblement Populaire in Paris was attended by six thousand members. De Gaulle’s Forces INCREASE INDICATED. LONDON, February 24. Sub-Lieutenant Saphir, in a speech on behalf of the Free French, said: “Our forces at the end of the past year were thirty-five thousand men. one thousand airmen, twenty warships and sixty merchantmen. These were exclusive of our forces in Libya, in Eritrea, and our other African Garrisons. Our strength is increas-. ing daily.
