FALSE ITALIAN REPORT. OF PALESTINE STRIFE. [British Official Wireless] (Received January 8, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, January 7. Being defeated in Libya, the Italian propaganda forces have atlempted a belated diversion in Palestine. The Rome radio stated, this morning, that the Arabs are constantly attacking the line of communication and the military objectives in Palestine. British armoured cars, It is alleged, have been blown up by land mines, and military posts have been attacked and destroyed. In this, there is no truth whatever, there having been no recent incidents in Palestine, and there has been no conflict, between the British soldiers and the civil population. It is, in fact, nin e months since an Arab shot a British soldier or a British sold'er shot an Arab.
