MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Mr O. Morris presided over a meeting of the Management Committee ol the West Coast Cricket Association on Tuesday evening, when there were also present Messrs J. Guy, E._Newton, E. Taylor, D. Anderson, and L. C. Lindley (secretary). A motion of condolence was passed with the relations of the late Mr W. Mathews, who wa's a keen supporter of cricket, and father of the association’s treasurer.

Arrangements for the Forrest Cup match with Buller were confirmed, and the team submitted by the selector was approved, A. Fletcher (Cooden) being added as twelfth man. Mr L. C. Lindley was appointed captain-manager of the West Coast team. In view of the matches with Nelson and Ashburton, it was decided to hold special representative practices on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, commencing this evening, under the direction of the selector. An invitation to play Air Force (Christchurch) at Wigram was accepted, and it was decided that an endeavour be made to arrange that the match take place on the Sunday following the match at Ashburton. WEEK-END FIXTURES The following fixtures have been arranged for the week-end: —■ Senior: Sunday. —Marist A v. Cobden, Rec- No. 1; United v. Marist B, Rec’. No. 2; Camerons v. Runanga, at Camerons. Junior: Saturday.—Marist 0.8. v. Brunner, Rec. No. 2; United v. Technical at Tech, 'ground; Marist School a bye.
