B.B.C. TO BE CENSORED

Same as Newspapers (Received December 12, 11.20 p.m.) LONDON, December 11. It is authoritatively stated that the news transmissions of the British Broadcasting Corporation will shortly be subjected to the same complete censorship as that which already is applied to the news cabled from Britain overseas. Newspaper correspondents have constantly protested to the British Government that its lack of censorship has enabled the 8.8. C. to broadcast news that is forbidden to the newspapers. Thus the censorship will now assume a uniformity in its releases to the 8.8. C. and to newspapers. It will also seek to ensure that 8.8. C. speakers shall make no disclosures which are 'known to the press, but which are withheld from publication for various reasons.
