The Australian Country Party at its conference at Canberra to-day, agreed to accept the Prime Minister’s proposal, cabled on March 7, for the formation of a United Australia Party and United Country Party Coalition Government. Tne Country Party will have five seats in the Ministry, namely three full Portfolios, and two assistant Ministerships. PICKING THE MINISTRY (Received March 12, 1.20 a.m.) CANBERRA, March 12. The composition of the new Coalition Ministry, as cabled earlier, will probably be announced on Thursday.
