MINE STOPPAGES

In Buller WESTPORT, November 7. The dispute over heavy trucks at Denniston Mine has not been settled, and there was no work at the mine to-day (Tuesday). The Stockton Mine is idle owing to a difficulty of getting rid of the small unscreened coal, which has been accumulating for some time, and until some of this is disposed of there is little likelihood of screened coal being produced.
