ROBBIE’S NEW CAFE
OPENED IN BOUNDARY ST. The popularity of the up-to-date service that a modern restaraunt offers was amply demonstrated yesterday by the large number of visitors and Greymouth residents who dined at Robbies New Cafe, Boundary St. Despite the fact that further improvements have yet to be made before the new premises are exactly as Mr and Mrs Robinson would like them to be, those who availed themselves of the opportunity to dine at the new cafe were enthusiastic in their praise of the standard of service offered. The whole of the interior has been renovated, remodelled and decorated in restful autumn tones that show to advantage in the natural lighting that flows into the building. Seventv people can be comfortably seated at tastefully arranged tables anti six semi-private alcoves. The largest procurable frigidaire (to ensure freshness for all foodstuffs) and “the last word” in gas and electric cooking appliances have been installed in the large kitchen which is separated from the dining room by a large servatory that excludes all possibility of cooking odours entering the dining room. All meals will be prepared under the personal supervision of Mr H. A. Robinson, whilst the dinning room will be under the direct control of Mrs Robinson.
