XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Runanga Borough Council will, at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, the sth day of September, 1939, at 6.55 p.m.. MAKE AND LE the following RATES for the period commencing April 1, 1939, and ending on March 31, 1940:— A GENERAL RATE under .the “Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” of 1/9'. in the £ on the Rateable Value on the’valuation Roll of all rateable property in the Borough of Runanga, on the basis of the Unimproved Value. A SECURITY RATE, to provide interest and other charges on the Water Supply Loan, 1938, of 19-915/1000 of a penny in the £ under Section 21 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” on the Rateable Value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property in the Borough of Runanga, on the basis of the Unimproved Value. A CHARITABLE AID RATE, under “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926,” of 1.3/16d in the £ on the Capital Value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Runanga, such rate being required to meet the contribution payable by the Runanga Borough Council to the Grey Hospital' Board. A DRAINAGE RATE, under ‘‘The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” of jd n the £ on the Capital Value on the Valuation Roll of the Borough of Runanga. A LIGHTING RATE, under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” of 3/16d in the £ on the Capital Value on the Valuation Roll of the Borough of Runanga. The above rates will be payable at the Council Office, Carroll Street, Runanga, IN ONE SUM, on the 12th September, 1939.
