HARRIERS

ST. JOHN’S CLUB. The members of the St. John's Harrier Club (Greymouth), held a trial run out to Runanga last night, in view of the Takahe-Akaroa race >n June, The members were hospitably entertained at supper by the committee of the Runanga Presbyterian Church, and at the conclusion Mr. J Daniel proposed a hearty vote of thanks to the committee, Mrs. Erickson and Mr. J. Clarke replying. During the evening, musical items were rendered by Messrs Mosley and Clarke. An invitation was extended to pay a further visit in the near future.
