NOTES. Th 0 Harbour Board last evening reported that the depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft 9in. The Te Aroha arrived yesterday from Wellington, and is to sail at 3 a.m. to-d'ay for Hokitika. The Waimea is due early this morning from Wellington to load timber and coal for Petone and Wellington. The Kalinga. which is loading timber for Sydney and Newcastle, is due to complete early next' week. The Pooltjai is due on Monday from Gisborne to load coal and timber for Auckland. The Karepo from Auckland via Napier, is due on Wednesday to load for Wellington. The Gabriella is due on April 28 to load timber for Melbourne. The Totara left Wellington yesterday for Greymouth, and is expected to arrive late to-night.
