SICK CASE ON MARAMA. (Aus. and N-Z Cable Assn.) SYDNEY, July 30. The Union Company reports that Mr. J. Peat, fourth officer of the Marama, who is suffering from diptheria, has been transferred to hospital, where he is progressing favourably. The Marama arrived to-day from Auckland, anchoring in Watson’s Bay at 9 a.m., and asking for a doctor. Then she proceeded to the wharf after the doctor attended to Peat.
