GREYMOUTH LIST. The next sitting’ of the Supreme Court at Greymouth is to on February 27. The following is the list of cases set down for hearing:— Criminal:—Rex. v. William Davis (Mr W. Hannan), for trial, al’cged obscene language. Rex v. William Hall and Arthur Jones, for tc. : ai. allege 1 breaking, entering and theft, at Greymouth. Rex. v. William Hall and Arthur Jones, for sentence, breaking, entering f .n ( i theft ar Nelson. Civil actions:—Grey County Counci. (Mr T. F. Brosnan) v. Grjv Electric Power Board, claim for rates £666 6s. There is also one Hokitika civil action. ( n aup-ml. —Mor-is (Mr I Patterson) v. Gillett (Mr L. E. Morgan), appeal against Warden’s decision as to forfeiture of a special quartz claim. Golden Sands, Ltd. (Mr Brosnan) v. Bourke Bros., appeal against Warden’s decision as to ; (a) Injunction; (b) Damages. One mining appeal from Hokitika In Divorce:— Absalom (Mr Hannan) v. Absalom, separation three years. O’Connor (Mr Brosnan) v. O’Connor, motion for decree absolute.
In bankruptcy:— Ernest Hunt Becker (Mr F. A. Kitchingham) motion tor discharge.
