(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 28. The weather report and forecast are as follows:—General situation: A moderate anti-cyclone is moving on to New Zealand, the centre being in the south. A shallow depression lies along the east coast of Australia. A tropical cyclone is centred between Fiji and Samoa. Forecast: Winds variable, with moderate to fresh south-east to north-east predominating. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough on parts of the east coast; elsewhere smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to fresh east to north winds and moderate seas. Weather: A few isolated rains are probable, more especially in the eastern districts, and accompanied in places by thunder, but the weather for the most part fine and rather cooler.
