Barbier defeated Stedman and Miss Cunningham 6/3, 6/3; De Borman and Mlle. Adamson defeated Malfroy and Mlle. Adamoff 6/2, 4/6, 6/3. MARLBOROURH TOURNEY. BLENHEIM. December 28. The Marlborough tennis championships are being concluded to-day in scorching weather, wfiich has obtained throughout. The following are the results of the finals so far:— Men’s singles: A. C. Coull (Blenheim) defeated E. B. W. Smyth (Picton) 3/6, 7/5, 7/5. Women’s singles: Miss D. Wood (Blenheim) defeated Miss Carty (Palmerston North) 6/2, 6/0. Women’s doubles; Misses Gleeson (Blenheim) and Carty (Palmerston North) defeated Miss Wood and Mrs Leonard (Blenheim) 6/3, 6/3.
