It was feared yesterday morning that two men, David Morgan, of Gresson Street, and John Rooney, of Blaketown, were lost or had come to some harm, when they did not return to their homes over the week-end, after being engaged in prospecting for gold on the beach at the Ten Mile, on the coastal road. They were, however, found last evening by a party headed by Constable Houston, of Dunollie, both being well, returning to their homes. Arthur Turner, who was with the men, returned to Greymouth on Saturday and when the others did not return, Mrs Rooney became anxious and informed the police, but as it happened, there was no need for any alarm.
