A Satisfactory One. ' INFERIOR SORTS DECLINE. NAPIER, December 12. Tttyj second wool sa.u of thc season was build in Napier today. On the whole, thc prices tjftcred were satisfactory to the vendors. The finer lots brought prices equal to those ruling at. the Noveinbx sale, but the course luts dropped slightly, shabbier sorts showing u| three-farthing increase. The fttal offering reached 27.G4G bales, and a good clearance was ‘- r fectkU. A full bench of buyers wax present, icprescuting England, America and the as well as the Dominion mills. Thc bidding started well, but :\t was not consistent, and fell off towards thc c.use with a conseqdrint increase in the passings, as compared with the previous -ale. Prices, Lollies and locks were in the keenest demand. The prices offered fuf super lines in these classes >ere relatively blotter than for the fleece wools. The clip opened up in excellent condition. Thc recent weather so-n--dit ions and the abundance of feed had an effect ,l»ut on the who lb the ’clip made a spb ndid showing, and called for some high praise.
