Nuttall, of Timaru, promoted t'o rank of Detective Sergeant., and transferred to Dunedin.

Sergeant J. Fitzgerald, of Frcman’s Bay Station, Auckland, transferred to the charge of Thames Station, replacing Sergeant McDopnell, who has retired.

Detective L. Stundolme, of Christchurch, replaces Detective Scrgaqut Nuttall, at Timaru. The above promotions will takj < effect as" from January, and the transfers' will be effected as so’on as possib.e.
