FIFTEEN MILLIONS.

On French Air Estimates. (Revived December .10, at 10 p.m.) LONDON, December 10. The ‘Times’s correspondent says t«ie Chamb r of Deputies passed the Air Ministry estimates, fifteen million sterling. M. Laurentcynac explained that the programme would primarily be for reequipment, including research in construction, aiming at quality not quantity, and the amplifying and standardising of machines, obtaining a steady uniform production, and also centralising co-ordinating, training and safeguarding pilots. Thirtyfive existing aircrair building companies would be amalgamated into a few large specialised concerns, securing Uigrver quality and lower costs. A Socialist deputy said that France’s expenditure on aviation exceeded that of any other country.
