The Hokitika Amateur Boxing and Gymnastic Club purpose holding a boxing tournament for school boys at an early date. Intending competitors are requested to state their weight when nominating. will be no' entry fee, and trophies will be provided for the winners of bouts, which will be classified according to the weight of entrants. This is the fl ason when there is a capacity demand on the local water supply. Householders should bo careful not to waste water on lawns or gardens. There ia a necessity to conserve thfjj supply for fire prevention purposes. DRUIDS LODGE. The half yearly meeting of the Druids Lodge, Westland No S 9, was hold last evening. Sick pay to the amount of £2 and accounts amounting to £O4/16-1.1 were passed for payin nt. The balance sheet was read and adopted. D.l*. Bro.
