GENERAL MOTORS ASSETS A BILLION. NEW YORK, March 7. General Motors Corporations annual report reveals that the Company possescss over a billion dollars in assets. This is the first instance in which an automobile manufacturing company has reported such although Ford lias long been worth, over a billion, in the opinion of financiers. The American Newspapers’ and Publishers’ Associations and Advertising Bureau states that national advertisers expended 225,000 in newspaper advertising in 1927. The groups classification is headed by the automobile industry, with fifty-seven companies, spending in the aggregate 35,505,000 dollars.
