MISSING LAUNCH

SEARCH PROVES FRUITLESS. GISBORNE, February 29. A messabe from Tokomaru Bay states that the Harbour Board’s launch Waima, has been searching yesterday and to-day for the missing launch, but without success. A message has been sent to places on the Coast north and south of Tokomaru Bay requestisg a careful watch to be kept, though it is feared the launch could hardly have weathered yesterday’s storm. LATER. Up till to-night no news was received of the missing fishermen Clyde Doig and Temoanui, who left Tokomaru Bay in an oil launch on Monday.
