SPRINTER DISQUALIFIED. AN INCORRECT ENTRY. 2JELBOURNE, February 12. For allegedly setting out incorrect performances in his entiy. Sprinter Miles, who defeated Banner in the 75 and 220 yards event., for the world’s sprint i it 10, was disqualified by the pretest committee from further competing in the forthcoming £ 000 handicap. Milo explained that his performances were compiled 1 v a friend acting for him. Ho had made a mistake, but. had no intention to deceive. The Committee decided to permit! Banner to compete in the forthcoming! 100 and 130 yards world’s champion ‘ hip events.
