CAR CAPSIZED.
CHILD’S LEG BROKEN. DUNEDIN, January 15. As a result of a motor car overturning at Allanton, at mid-day to-day, the five months old child of Mr and Mrs D. Wheeler, of Momona, was admitted ,o the hospital suffering from a fracture of the right leg. The car, which was an old mod 1 Ford, was carrying six or seven passengers from Momona, and when nearing Allanton the steering gear failed to work, and the car capsized over a small bank. Most of the occupants suffered from 1 ’- • «''”-nt<dies, or cuts, but the child, Douglas Charles Wheeler, was the only one requiring hospital treatment. His injuries are confined to a broken leg and his condition is not serious.
