GIANT ’PLANES.
For Atlantic Service. GERMANS’ ENTERPRISE BERLIN, January 13. Two representatives of the Rumpier aircraft works have gone to America, with a view to forming a company to carry out trans-Atlantic aeroplane service, by means of the Rumpier giant all-metal flying boats, which have a wing spread of 282 feet, and are (quipped with ten eight hundred horse power motors capable of a speed of a hundred and sixty miles an hour. It is predieted that they will regularly cross every twenty-four hours, carrying a crew of thirty-five. 'The estimated fare is £75, and the route via the Azores and Newfoundland. DURATION RECORD.
