ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
INFANT DROWNED IN CASK. GISBORNE, January 12. While playing at the back door of his mother’s home, Norman Douglas Bimbler, the two.year-old son of Doris Bimbler, fell into a ten gallon cask if water and was drowned. The child was missed only a few minutes, and was found head down in a cask. A doctor was summoned, but life was extinct. CYCLIST SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. OTAKI, January 13. Bobby Alason, the seven-year-old grandson of the Alayor of Otaki, J. I>.1 > . Brandon,, fell from his bicycle yes terday, and cut his leg. Ho was admitted 1o the hospital, but later died.
