THE WEATHER.
WELLINGTON, January 10. The Dominion Meteorologist’s evening foracast is as follows: Anti-cyclone conditions are- still over New Zealand and the Tasman Sea. Light to moderate variable winds north of New Plymouth and Napier with southeast to easterlies prevailing elsewhere. Moderate northwesterly winds, freshening somewhat more especially in Cook ano Foveaux Straits. Still fair but clouding over later n Westland, and scat tered showers about Foveaux Straits.
