WORLD WAR.
Within Next Generation. FOGH’S PREDICTION. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, July 10. “The next war, fought within fifteen to twenty years, will be a world war, every country participating. The combatants will include not only the manhood, but the younger woman will play an even more active part than the battalions of English women did in the hospitals and transport work in the Great War,” says Marshal Foch, in an interview with the Weekly Dispatch. * " The nation in arms will also Include every available man, woman and child, each being allotted a task. “Although fightnig on land and sea and m the air will resemble the Western front in 1918, with new- and more powerful weapons and more harrowing features, Marshal Foch does not believe there will be more casualties, because science will devise fresh defen sive measures, as it has already limit ed the destructiveness of air attacks by concealment. He added: Wars will never cease entirely. The only safeguard of peace that I know- is the Entente Cordiale.
