SHOT BY SON. ' SYDNEY, March 29. Al the inquest on the death of Alex under Strong, who was killed following, u family qtlarrcl, and in consequence of his death, his son. Bruce Strong, was arrested and charged with murder, evidence was given b? the son, Alexander who said that deceased used to threaten to’ blow the family’s brains out. He gave instances o|- arts of cruelty by tlie- father to members of the i mily. • 'The Coroner said that although the evidence shewed deceased was ;; remarkably cruel man and became practically a maniac when under th< influence of liquor he (the Coroner) could not define accused’s action as anything other than murder and committed him for trial.
