LLOYD GEORGE ON ALLIED AIMS.
(Received October 11, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 10. Mr Lloyd George, addressing the Belgian delegates who placed a wreath on the Cenotaph, as tribute to the. British nation’s part in the war, said:—‘‘As we were glad to stand by Belgium’s side during the war, we hope to stand by the side of Belgium and 1 rance and our allies in the cause of peace. It would be a tragedy if we, who marched side by side to face death, parted when we had to march together to the reconstruction of the world.”
