CUSHIONLESS SEATS.
The mid-day train from Blackball on Saturday was remarkable for one attribute, the scats of the carriages were entirely innocent of cushions! It is not known in Blackball whether the Railway Department consider that min-ers and their wives do not require the same comforts in their Travelling as other citizens, but Blackball-ites consider it a peculiar circumstance that the cushions should be removed on paySaturday, the very day that many us-e the tr ain to come to Greymouth. »
