Kamona, this evening, from Wellington. W: imea, to-morrow night, from Wei lington. NOTES. The Titoki, after discharging her gen-| oral cargo, loaded part, cargo of coal and sailed for Westport last evening, where she will complete loading for' Nelson. The Kaitangata arrived yesterday morning from Nr pier. She loaded 1 part cargo of coal for Auckland, sailing last evening for Westport to comrplete. The Regulus also sailed last evening for New Plymouth with a load of coal. The Ihumata arrived yesterday morn ing from Wang,- nui and is now loading timber for Melbourne. The Progress is due from Wanganui, with general cargo, and will come in this morning. The Ngahere is expected to arrive this evening from Napier, which port she left at 8 p.m. on Monday. The Kamona left Wellington at 1.2.1 p.m. yesterday for Greymouth. On ar rival she will load co:.l for the same port. The Waimea is expected to arrive to morrow night from Wellington, Nelson, and Westport, with general cargo. The Bona, which was reported to bo aground at Kawau on Monday is a large cargo steamer of 6205 tons grots register, her principal dimensions being:—Length 400 feet, beam 54 feet 6 inches, moulded depth 35 feet. She was built in 1918 at Middlesborough for the Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Ltd., by whom she is employed in the trade between Fiji, Auckland, Sydney, and Newcastle. The Kona left Suva at 4 o’clock last Wednesday afternoon with a full cargo of raw sugar for Auckland. Kawua Island is on the west side of the Hauraki Gulf, c-los-e to the mainland. It is 4 miles long and 31 miles wide, and is very hilly. Kawau Island was once the home of Sir George Grey, a former Governor of New Zealand. TELEGRAMS. WELLINGTON, June 27.
