MANAWATU RESULTS. PALMERSTON N., January 18. The Manawatu Trotting Club’s annual meeting commenced to-day in fine weather and before a fair attendance. The track was in splendid order. The tote receipts -were £11.856, against £23,222 last year. Results:— Linton Handicap.—Plunder 1, Victor Horva 2, Lynx 3. Twelve starters. Won by a length. Time 4.2. Trial a Handicap.—The Pointer 1, Lenglen 2, Pearl Coronado 3. Thirteen starters. Won by four lengths. Time 3.42. Stewards’ Handicap.—Humariki 1, May Dawn 2. Harry Audubon 3. Eight starter*. Won by two lengths. Time 5.1. Gold Cup.—Prinzora 1, Warlock 2. Tara ire 3. Nine starters. Won by _ two lengths. Time 4.46. P Ladies’ Bracelet.—Her Ladyship 1. Lenglen 2, Plunder 3. Five starters.
