The "Daily Chronicle's" Amsterdam correspondent states the Kaiser's visit to Headquarters was intended to rally the army round him. Only officers, chiefly Prussians, placed themselves at his- disposal. He conferred for several hours with the Crown Pnnee. Hinden.bu.rg.: and Groener. Br th Generals advised abdication. Hindenburg said delay would have terrible ' consequences in the Army. The Kaiser was undecided, when the conferneo ,- .en'ded. He made up bis mind an hour later, after receipt of a communication from Berlin;
