The death of an old and esteemed settler of Kokatahi, Mr. Hugh Johnstone (sonr.) ; took place at his residence somewhat suddenly on Monday evening. The deceased had resided at Kokatahi for many years. He was S5 yo-irs of age and leaves a widow, and one son (Mr, Hugh Johnstone) and several daughters, the eldest being Mrs. Hamilton, of Hokitika.
